It has come to our official attention that fraudulent entities are impersonating YUFAN Machinery on social media platforms, primarily TikTok (account: @yufan_machinery_). These scammers illegally use our official logo, brand assets, and company information to create fake accounts, lure customers into WhatsApp conversations with unrealistically low prices, and subsequently issue fake Proforma Invoices (PI) with Hong Kong-based bank accounts to steal funds.
How to Identify the Scam:
- Fake Invoices: Scammers use a modified “YUFAN” template but list Hong Kong-based personal or unrelated third-party bank accounts (we have NO Hong Kong accounts for payment collection).
- Abnormal Pricing: Prices offered are significantly below market cost to entice immediate payment.
- Unauthorized Social Media Accounts: Fake TikTok accounts using our logo, with frequently changing Hong Kong WhatsApp numbers (e.g., +852 9452 6995, +852 6461 4890).
- Third-party Apps: Heavy reliance on unverified WhatsApp numbers rather than official corporate email for communication.
