The bucket wheel excavator (BWE) is a huge and heavy excavation equipment. These giant machines are often dozens of meters high and weigh tens of thousands of tons. They are suitable for large-scale earthwork and mining projects.
The small bucket wheel excavators body type is as follows:

▪️The bucket wheel diameter is 1 to 3 meters;
▪️The single bucket volume is of 0.05 to 0.1 cubic meters;
▪️The whole machine is less than 10 meters long and 5 meters high;
▪️The output is several dozen to several hundred cubic meters per hour.
The world’s largest bucket wheel excavator: Bagger 293. Its body type is as follows:
